  • Teams will no longer be asked to secure a team sponsor.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
  • A t-shirt for the child to keep (participants must wear the official Hereford Sports & Wellness t-shirt in order to be eligible to participate in each game)
  • Team State Fees
  • Payment of Umpires
  • Game Balls
  • Team Charter Fees with Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken
Hereford Sports & Wellness will be responsible for submitting all team charter fees and team state fees to Babe Ruth League, Inc.. Babe Ruth League Includes both the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth leagues for our Hereford league players.

BASEBALL OPERATIONS

The City of Hereford has contracted with Hereford Sports & Wellness to operate and manage the John Bunch Complex, including leagues, tournaments, maintenance, and operations of the facility. In an effort to provide a smooth transition for youth baseball and softball, Hereford Sports & Wellness has asked a group of individuals to serve as an advisory group with members of our staff. This group will be referred to as the Hereford Sports & Wellness Baseball & Softball Commission The role of the Hereford Sports & Wellness Baseball & Softball Commission will be to assist with determining all of the planning and development of league play, tournaments, equipment needs, umpire recruitment and training, concessions, uniforms, team formation, and other duties associated with providing quality baseball and softball programs for children and families in Hereford and the surrounding communities.
